“Buying a Victorian town house with dodgy electrics, suspect plumbing and a leaky roof was a bit of a gamble but thanks to Terry’s skill and efficiency none of our emergencies turned into crises. Since we moved into the house three years ago he has done dozens of jobs around the house - fixing, repairing, decorating, building cupboards, converting a loft, installing security lights and constructing a beautiful bathroom complete with hand-built walk-in shower.
On one occasion, trying to install a second hand heated towel rail I had picked up for a song, Terry made repeated calls to the French manufacturers to make sure it was set up correctly.
All his work is been done to the highest standards. And all he demands is chocolate Hobnobs.
